Well, Inktober 2021 starts tomorrow, and I’m barely halfway through Inktober 2020.
The idea for this one came immediately. What was harder to find was the photo I know I have of our Outer Banks crew watching one of these storms a’comin’, which I wanted to use for reference. I never did find the picture I was thinking of, so I grabbed this one from Beth’s excellent Snapfish or Ofoto or York Photo Labs or Photomat OBX photo archive.
The original idea was to include people watching this storm (Robby and Kara were who I had in mind), but that would have added even MORE time to the process. So pretend they’re there.
I’m leery about using color in these drawings, but this worked out well enough.
